What we know
The test is a condition of renewal. It concerns the practice of the brokerage profession. You must have passed it before the renewal is accepted.
Yearly renewal · annual test
Your broker card must be renewed every year. The DLD requires that you have passed the annual test, the so-called RERA renewal exam, and you renew on Trakheesi or the Dubai REST app. This guide gives the sourced steps and the fee, then a short way to prepare the test.

The card’s validity is linked to your brokerage’s trade licence. Confirm that it is valid before you start.
The DLD requires it for renewal. It publishes no question count, duration or pass mark, so plan your preparation, not a number.

The DLD FAQ lists a card renewal fee of AED 520 and a certificate of a continuing education course (CPD).
The FAQ is the only place we found both. Do not confuse the CPD certificate with the annual test: they are two requirements. Ask your brokerage who books the CPD course, and when.
Compare it with the first-year cost on the fees page.

How we train for it
Because the DLD is silent, we define our own format and say so. Our renewal mock exams have 30 questions in 45 minutes, with 75% as the target. That is a training format, not a rule. The questions are unseen, there are no hints and no translation, as on test day.
A short course for people who already know the job and need to refresh it in a few evenings.
It does not repeat the full broker course. It starts from what changed, then revisits the topics where experienced brokers lose marks. Each topic has explained questions with hints.
The price is $40 (about AED 149), once, for 12 months. Already a student of the broker preparation? Ask us about your options on the contact page.

| This year’s changes in DLD rules | 20% |
