How comprehension mode works
Dubai property law is hard enough in your first language. Comprehension mode lets you understand a question before you answer it in English.
2. Read it all
The question, each option, the hint and the full explanation appear in your language, under the English. You see what you will see on the day, and what it means.
3. Keep the legal terms
Form A, Form B, Form F, Ejari, Oqood, Mollak, Trakheesi, escrow account and title deed stay in English. The meaning is given in your language.

A simple rule: learning is in your language, testing is in the exam’s.
How the translations are made
Translations are machine-made, then reviewed by native speakers. If a sentence reads badly, write to us and we correct it.

The question tests the standard DLD contracts. Form F is the sale agreement between the seller and the buyer. Form A is between the seller and the brokerage, and Form B between the buyer and the broker.

C, Form F. Form F is the sale agreement between seller and buyer. Form A is between the seller and the brokerage, and Form B between the buyer and the broker.

On the day, no translation button waits for you. So the last part of your preparation must look like the day.
The exam language is not published
The DLD does not publish the languages of the exam. Guides report English and Arabic. Its training sessions are in English only. Check the language of your sitting when you book.
Words win marks
Exam questions turn on exact words: “notice”, “registered”, “void”. If you learned the rule only in your language, you may not recognise it in English. Mock exams teach the exact wording.

Can I take the exam in my own language?
The DLD does not publish the exam languages. Check with the DLD when you book. This site helps you understand in your language and train in the exam’s.
Are the translations perfect?
They are machine-made, then reviewed by native speakers. No translation is perfect. The English text always stays visible, and you can report a sentence to us.
Is comprehension mode extra?
No. It is included in every preparation, at the same price.
